It is a completely automated finishing system whose feeder can hold a stack of paper up to 100mm in height. Each sheet is gently transported into the unit without scratches or marks caused by feed tires on friction fed feeders or from friction on bottom fed suction feeders.
To assist with the processing of short or narrow sheets a few specialty feeders have been developed to assist our customers:They are as following:
NARROW FEEDER: Min size 45*130mm
SHORT FEEDER: Min size 90*90mm
MINI FEEDER: Min size 45*90mm
Lightning has a touchscreen for data input and control and it’s software allows the operator to visually preview what has been programmed after all the data has been input. This prevents having to waste a test sheet to discover that a programming error was made.
A slot where slide-in tools can be easily exchanged allows for a wide variety of jobs to be performed. A male and female crease bar and a perforating bar are available. All tools are made out of durable metal and will last as long as the main body of the unit.
Up to 4 option linear partial perforator is allowed to be mounted in the the system so that it make cross or T shape perforation together with perf bar. For each partial perforater ,upto 16 partial sections can be defined from the touch screen
33KF is a knife folding solution that is designed to connect directly to the 8336B (Lightning Pro). Its modular design allows it be added without any modifications being made to the Lightning Pro. This means that the system can expand as budget allows. Both machines have their own touchscreens and either of them can be used to control the system as information automatically moves between them.

WHY WE NEED PROGRESSIVE
Creasing in the same position on each page to create a hinge for a thick book such as a manual or photobook makes the book difficult to fully open without breaking the spine.
Creasing in the middle of each page of a saddle stitch book makes it difficult to fold and trim.
WHAT IS PROGRESSIVE
With the Progressive function activated each sheet is creased in a slightly different position so that when the book is assembled it lays flat and can be easily fully opened without breaking the spine.
With the Progressive function activated each sheet is creased in a slightly different position to create a “V” shape so that when the book is assembled it becomes a square back that allows the book to lay flat and be more easily used.
